Purpose: to consolidate understanding of C2 and to determine when and how to leverage technology to develop students' C2 competency

Audience : Secondary English as a Second Language Teachers and Consultants

    Length: approximately 9.5 hours

    Minimal Technological Requirements: beginner

    Publication date: August 2024

    Contact: Dianne Elizabeth Stankiewicz

This course is designed to be hands-on. Before you begin, take a moment to choose a learning sequence you plan to use in the near future to develop Competency 2. It could be a Learning and Evaluation Situation (LES), a unit from your activity book, or any another material you plan to work with that includes a reinvestment task. Ideally, it should be something you will still be using by the end of the course, so you can build on it throughout the modules and try out what you create with your students.

I recommend choosing a sequence you would like to improve, perhaps because students find it challenging, or because you see potential to enrich it with digital technology.
